Heavy-Format CNC Sourcing — Vietnam

Heavy CNC Parts Sourced from Vietnam — Up to 6m, Single-Setup Capable

Machine bases, weldments, gantry frames, gearbox housings — large-format parts your typical job shop can't fit. We connect you with vetted Vietnam factories that can.

Vetted Heavy Shops

Heavy parts need heavy shops. Most Vietnam directories don't filter for that.

We've spent years mapping which Vietnam factories actually have the gantry mills, large boring machines, and crane capacity to handle 5+ ton workpieces. You get matched with the right one — not the closest one.

01

Pre-Vetted Capacity

Every shop in our network has been audited for machine envelope, crane capacity, and welding facilities. No surprises mid-project.

02

One Point of Contact

You deal with us in English. We handle factory-floor coordination, drawing reviews, and weekly progress updates in Vietnamese.

03

QC Before Shipment

Independent inspection before container loads. CMM reports, dimensional verification, and weld inspection — documented.

From drawing to delivered part — 4 steps

No upfront fees. We only earn when your project ships.

1

Send Drawing

STEP file, PDF, or DWG. We review feasibility within 24 hours and flag any envelope or material concerns.

2

Factory Match

We shortlist 1–3 shops from our network based on your specs, lead time, and budget. You see anonymized capability.

3

Quote & PO

You receive a single quote in USD. Net-30 or T/T 30/70. Direct PO to factory with our oversight included.

4

QC & Ship

Pre-shipment inspection with CMM report. We coordinate freight forwarder. EXW, FOB, or DDP — your choice.

Heavy CNC machining

If your part doesn't fit on a desktop, you're in the right place.

Most Vietnam CNC sourcing focuses on aluminum brackets and small precision parts. Heavy parts are a different game — bigger crane bays, longer setup times, different metallurgy concerns.

  • Machine bases and frames over 3 tons
  • Gearbox and reducer housings (cast or fabricated)
  • Gantry crane components and weldments
  • Press tooling plates and platen assemblies
  • Wind turbine and energy-sector castings (machined)
  • Mining and material-handling structural parts

Sectors where we ship most

Our network has repeat work across these verticals — meaning the partner factories know the certifications, tolerances, and documentation each one expects.

Common questions before sending a drawing

What size parts are too big for your network?
Our practical limit is ~6m length and 12 tons workpiece weight. Beyond that we'd refer you to specialty shops in China or Korea — we won't take a project we can't deliver well.
Do you handle the welding and stress-relief, or just machining?
Both. Several network partners do welded fabrication in-house, then stress-relieve and machine. For complex weldments we coordinate the full chain.
What's a typical lead time on a heavy part?
For one-off prototype: 4–8 weeks depending on material availability and finishing. Small-batch (5–20 units): 8–14 weeks. Heavy parts move slower than small-format CNC — plan accordingly.
How do you handle quality on parts that can't fit on a CMM?
Portable CMM arms (FARO/Romer), laser trackers, and traditional layout/marking with master plates. QC reports include actual measured values, not just pass/fail.
Can I visit the factory?
Yes, after we've narrowed to a specific partner and an NDA is in place. We host buyers in Vietnam regularly — most fly into Ho Chi Minh City and we drive together to the shop.
What incoterms do you typically use?
EXW, FOB Ho Chi Minh / Hai Phong, or DDP to your facility. For oversized parts we usually recommend FOB and let your freight forwarder handle door delivery — they know your customs better.
